Portal 2008 A Huge Success

The conference is over now, but the networking is just beginning. More than 160 people from over 80 institutions heard the keynote from Jim Farmer, the all-conference session by Ray Henderson and attended 28 sessions and 3 panel discusions - all about portals within higher education.

Feedback from conference attendees:
"This is the best conference I''ve ever been to. Hands down. The volume of actually useful information I gathered was enough to fill a 12 page report."

"I think it was great, especially for the price."

"It was a valuable experience for me because it was different than the vendor conferences such as Sungard Summit. It provided a broader view of portals, their use and future."

"It was great and the value was amazing based on cost vs. content."

The planning for Portal 2009 has already begun. Mark your calendars for June 2-5, 2009 for Portal 2009: Uses, Users, Usability.
