This tool allows you to post, read, customize, and search messages that are posted to this discussion board. Within this discussion board, you have access to the following tools:
Message Index: Use this tool to list the titles of all messages. To read a message, simply click on the hyperlinked text. CNAV will display the message text along with a button that allows you to post a reply.
Post Message: Use this tool to compose a message to post to the discussion board. Notice that you can even include an URL in your message.
Customize: Use this tool to sort the messages. You can list messages by date (oldest or most recent first), author, or thread. You can also limit the display to 10 messages at a time. To limit the number of messages displayed, you can display only messages posted in the last 24 hours, the last week, the last month, the last 6 months, or the last term. The final option, displaying messages for the "last several eons" is actually a joke. Selecting this option displays all messages ever posted.
Search: Use this tool to search for one or more specific messages. You can limit the search to only messages posted in the last 24 hours, the last week, the last month, the last 6 months, or the last term. Within those messages, you can search for a specific keyword or phrase in the title or message text, or messages posted by a specific author.
