Clicking Find It Now, Events, Multiple Condition Search allows you to search for events using many different fields/criteria. You can enter data into one, some, or all of these fields:
Date range: Use this option to limit your search to events occurring before, after, or within certain dates. For example, selecting a start date of 01/01/2000 and an end date of 01/02/2000 will produce a list of events taking place from January 1, 2000 to February 1, 2000. Note that you must specify a 4-digit year. Also note that the default start date is always today's date; the default end date is one month in the future. To search without regard to event dates, tick "Do not use date range".
Interest selection: Use this option to limit the events returned to those that match your logged interests to the specified degree. By default, CNAV ignores interests in executing the search.
Events I own: Use this option to limit your search to events that you entered into CNAV or events in which you are listed as part of the owner group. By default, CNAV ignores ownership in executing the search.
Event location: Use this option to search events by the location at which they are held. This field uses a dynamic list display. As you begin typing characters, CNAV will dynamically display all locations that begin with those characters in the display field to the right of the entry field. The default value (blank) returns events at all locations.
Calendars: Use this option to limit your search to events posted to one or more specific calendars. For example, if you are searching for a sporting event, you would naturally select the Athletics calendar from the list provided. To select more than one calendar, control-click. If you don't specify a calendar, CNAV returns events posted to all calendars.
Once you have entered all criteria by which you wish to search, click Submit to execute the search.
To clear all selected values and begin a new search, click Reset.
