Clicking My Place, My Settings, My Interests, Maintain Interests allows you to delete specific interests from the list of interests you have logged with CNAV. The Maintain Interests function also allows you to change the properties of those interests you choose to keep.
To delete a logged interest, click the Delete? checkbox. Then, click Submit.
To modify interest properties, add or remove ticks from the checkboxes as required. The following properties can be declared for each interest:
Private: Tick this checkbox to ask CNAV not to tell other users that you have logged this interest.
Focus: Tick this checkbox to tell CNAV that this interest is especially important to you. CNAV will display events and other items matching your Focus interests even when those items do not otherwise meet the search criteria you specify. (For example, you can ask CNAV to list only events matching 3 or more of your interests on your Cool Stuff page. However, CNAV will still list any events matching your Focus interests.)
Show all: Tick this property to allow CNAV to tell other users that you have logged this particular interest.
CNAV tracking: Sometimes called Behind the scenes tracking, this property allows CNAV to perform background checks on the types of things in which you are interested. This function allows CNAV to log interests for you based on those items you actually access even if you forget to tell CNAV what you're interested in.
After making all desired modifications to your logged interests, click Submit.
To clear your changes and begin again, click Reset.
To return to the My Interests menu, click Back.
