Clicking Campus Tools, URL Mgmt, Cool URLs, List of URLs You Can Edit displays the My Cool URLs screen. On this screen, CNAV lists all of the Cool URLs that you entered into CNAV.
For each of your Cool URLs, CNAV lists the following information:
URL: This column actually displays the site title, not the URL address. To edit a Cool URL, click on the site title here. You may click the Edit icon to make changes if (a) you are a system administrator or (b) the URL has not been authenticated.
View: Click this link for a detailed view of each Cool URL. The detailed view includes the owner name, creation and expiration dates, URL description, and the settings of the keyword crawl and archive flags. Associated interests as well as any specified URL category are also displayed in the detailed view.
Authenticated: This column indicates whether this URL has been approved for display on the Cool Stuff page. Although any on-campus user can enter a Cool URL, a new Cool URL will not display on the Cool Stuff page until it has been authenticated (i.e. approved). Only users designated as Cool URL administrators can authenticate Cool URLs.
URL Description: This column contains a description of each Cool URL. If the description is lengthy, only the first line displays followed by (more). Click the hyperlinked (more) to view the entire description.
Created Date: This column lists the date and time at which you created each Cool URL listed. (There is no Created By field in this table because this is the My Cool URL screen. Only those URLs created by you appear.)
Delete: Use this icon to delete a Cool URL you no longer find cool (or useful).
To make this list more useful, you can also order the list by date (Created Date), site title (URL), or authentication status (Authenticated).
To return to the Cool URLs menu, click Main.
