Clicking CNAV Tools, Authentication allows you to view and/or record the types of authentication (and encryption) used in various areas of CNAV. Please note that this tool only lists the sources of authentication and encryption types in use. You cannot actually set a new encryption usage for CNAV by using this tool.
From this screen, you can do the following:
Editing an existing authentication type
To edit an existing authentication type, click the hyperlinked Name shown in the list of current authentication types. (If the list of current authentication types is not displayed, click Authen. Types List in the toolbar displayed in the left frame of this screen.) CNAV will display the Edit Authentication Type screen.
To add a new authentication type, click Authen. Types Add in the toolbar displayed in the left frame of this screen. CNAV will display the Add Authentication Type screen.
Listing the current authentication types
When you first click CNAV Tools, Authentication, CNAV displays a list of the current authentication types in the main frame of this screen. To redisplay this list after using an authentication tool to add or list other information, click Authen. Types List in the toolbar displayed in the left frame of this screen.
To add a new encryption type, click Encryption Types Add in the toolbar displayed in the left frame of this screen. CNAV will display the Add Encryption Type screen.
Listing the current encryption types
To list the current encryption types, click Encryption Types List in the toolbar displayed in the left frame of this screen. CNAV will display the List Encryption Types screen. From that screen, you can view and/or edit the current encryption types.
