Clicking CNAV Tools, Heart Beats, System Usage displays an overview of system usage. You can examine usage in two ways:
Clicking the Users link at top of the System Usage screen provides a 30,000 foot view of who is using CNAV. You can customize this display as follows:
By date: To view system usage within a specific date range, enter the target dates and click View.
By condition: To further restrict your view of system usage, use the following fields:
Who? Use this drop-down list to limit your overview to users within a specific realm. For example, you might choose to view usage only by Employees or Alumni. By default, CNAV assumes you wish to view usage by ALL users.
When? Use this drop-down field to obtain information about usage for specific time periods on the date(s) you selected above. Select Daily (and click View) to list users who accessed CNAV at any time on the specific date(s) . Select Hourly (and click View) to view a list of users broken down to every hour on the specified date(s). If you are interested in usage only during a specific hour of the day, select that hour directly from the When? drop-down list.
How? Use this drop-down to view average usage and the number of unique users over a 3-, 5-, or 10-day period.
How many? Use this drop-down list to limit the number of lines shown in the display.
Clicking the Menu link at top of the System Usage screen provides a 30,000 foot view of which parts of CNAV are being used. For each menu system that has been accessed within the specified date(s), CNAV lists the menu name, number of hits, and date of last access. You can sort the list by any of these fields by simply clicking on the hyperlinked field name at the top of the table. You can also customize your view by specifying Who, When, How, and/or Where as described in System Usage by User.
