Clicking Campus Tools, Messaging, Chat Room Scrubber allows you to remove messages from (that is, "scrub") the CNAV chat rooms.
So that you can determine which chat rooms are in need of cleaning, this screen provides the following information for each chat room:
Chat room name and status value: The Chat Room title lines list the name and current status of each chat room currently available through CNAV. Status values are color-coded. A red dot indicates that the chat room contains over 1,000 messages and needs to be cleaned. A green dot indicates a clean chat room.
Last scheduled cleaning: This line lists the date and time at which the chat room was last cleaned.
Next scheduled cleaning: This line lists the date and time at which the chat room is scheduled to be cleaned next.
Number of messages: This line reports the total number of messages. (Chat rooms containing over 1,000 messages are tagged with a red dot in the first column to indicate that they should be cleaned.)
People chatting: This line reports the number of users who have opted to chat in each chat room in the past.
If the information indicates that a chat room should be scrubbed, execute scrubbing by clicking the appropriate Delete Messages button.
