Clicking Campus Tools, Alumni, Annual Giving Tools, Maintain Donation Purposes allows you to add or delete donation purposes from which users can select when making an online pledge or donation to your institution.
To add a new donation purpose, enter the name of the purpose to be added at Add purpose. To associate that purpose with a specific fund at your institution, select that fund from the Associate with drop-down list. Click Submit.
To delete an existing donation purpose, select the name of the donation purpose you wish to edit from the list of Current donation purposes. By default, this area lists the purposes associated with your institution in general (i.e. Global). To list the purposes associated with specific funds at your institution, select the specific fund from the Associate with drop-down list. CNAV will redraw the screen and list all purposes associated with that fund under Current donation purposes. Again, click on the name of the donation purpose you wish to delete. Then, click the Delete icon. CNAV will ask you to confirm the deletion. Click OK.
To clear this form and start again, click Reset.
