Clicking Campus Tools, Alumni, Annual Giving Tools, Review Pledge Data allows you to process online pledges.
When a user submits an online pledge, the details on that pledge are input to a pledge data queue for later processing. Because the actual pledges must be recorded in the campus financial system (that computer system in which the campus officially records pledges data), CNAV does not immediately process those pledges. Instead, the process is as follows:
The user submits an online pledge.
CNAV queues the pledge information.
The employee responsible for processing pledges uses the Review Pledge Data tool to review the pledge.
For each pledge submitted, that employee does the following:
Responds to the pledge. This means that the data entry staff member either enters the pledge information into the campus financial system or decides that she will NOT enter that information.
Informs CNAV of her response. That is, she tells CNAV whether she Processed the pledge, Denied the pledge, or decided to defer processing and leave the pledge Pending.
To clear this form and start again, click Reset.
After marking all pledge processing decisions, click Submit.
