Force Email Notifications

Each night, CNAV automatically sends email updates about new matches to users who requested email notification. To forcibly send email updates during the course of a day, click [Send email now] in the Email Notifications section.

Forcibly Expire or Delete Postings

During the nightly batch processing, CNAV automatically expires and deletes out-dated postings.

Expired requests.  Postings are considered expired if the ride date has passed and the request status is still Open.  Normally, these postings are set to expired status during the nightly processing. To forcibly expire these postings during the course of a day, click [Expire posts now].

Deleted requests.  Once postings have been in expired status for a specific length of time, CNAV deletes those postings. Normally, postings are deleted 1 year after expiration. However, you can change that default time frame by entering a new time value and clicking Change Defaults.  You can also forcibly delete postings without changing the default deletion time frame. To delete postings one-time-only for a different time frame, enter the desired time frame and click Delete Posts Now.
