From this screen, you can enter or change the following fields:
Name: Enter the name of the survey text field being defined or modified. This is the name that will display on the survey as the question. This is a required field.
Description: Enter a short, but useful, description of this text field.
Attributes: Set the following attribute flags, as required:
Activate? Tick this checkbox to activate this field for this helpdesk survey.
Require? Tick this checkbox to make this a required field.
Use regular expression? Tick this checkbox to indicate that you are using a regular expression to limit the acceptable values input to this field. Be sure to enter the actual regular expression in the field below.
Sequence: Enter a value that indicates the order in which you want this field to appear on the helpdesk survey. (The field marked sequence 1 is listed first, sequence 2 is listed second, etc.) This is a required field.
Default value: Enter the default value you wish CNAV to assign to this field. If you don't want this field to have a default value, leave this item blank.
Comment: Enter any desired comments in this field.
Number of characters: Enter an integer value that indicates the maximum number of characters to be allowed in this text field.
Expression: If you ticked Use regular expression above, enter the regular expression to be used here.
To clear this form and start again, click Reset.
After defining or modifying all required fields, click Submit.
To view the helpdesk survey as it exists to this point, click View.
