Clicking Campus Tools, Forms, Form Builder/Editor displays a list of the forms that exist within CNAV. To edit any of these forms, click the Edit icon in the Edit Properties column next to the form to be edited.
When editing a form, you can modify the following fields:
Institution: Select the institution to which you wish the form to be available from the provided drop-down list. To make this form available to all institutions, select Consortium.
Department: Select the department through which you wish the form to be available from the provided drop-down list. To make this form available through any department, select None.
Form name: Enter a new name to be associated with this form.
Description: Enter a short, but useful, description of the form.
PDF file: Enter the name and location of any PDF file to be associated with the form. (This is an optional field.)
Flags: Tick the appropriate flags to set the post-completion processing of this form. You can tick one or more of the following flags:
Hide processed flags: Tick this checkbox to hide the flags that indicate whether or not the form has been processed.
Can user modify after submission: Tick this checkbox to allow the user to modify his or her entries in this form after initially completing it. If this checkbox is left blank, users must complete all items the first time through and cannot return to this form to make later modifications.
Reuse form: Tick this checkbox to allow this form to be reused at a later date.
Due date: Enter the date by which potential takers must complete this form. After the due date, this form will no longer be available to takers.
Contact email: Enter the email address of the person whom people should contact with questions or comments about this form.
Group editing fields: Use these links to modify the people (or groups) included in the following groups:
Owners: These people are designated as owners of this form. The owner may or may not be the person who actually created the form.
Editors: These people are allowed to edit this form.
Data Editors: These people are allowed to edit an active instance of this form.
Processors: These people are allowed to view the completed versions of this form.
Takers: These people are allowed to complete this form.
After completing all entries, click Submit to apply your changes.
To return to the Form Builder/Editor screen, click Back.
