This screen allows you to edit institution-specific text that has been added to a CNAV display screen using the Page Content Mgmt tool.
On this screen, enter or modify the following information:
Paragraph name: Enter the name you wish to assign to this paragraph. This name does not appear on the CNAV screen. It is used only to allow you to identify paragraphs when you add more than one paragraph of text to a CNAV screen.
Page ID: Enter the page ID of the CNAV page to which you wish to add institution-specific text. To find the page ID, click Find Page and enter the CNAV file name in the Page name text field. In this case, you do not need to enter the path, only the *.cgi or *.cfm file name. For example, to find the page ID of the Add Paragraph page, first find the file name. To find the file name, navigate to the target page and either right click and View Frame Info (in Netscape) or right click and view Properties (in IE). In either case, you will find that the file name is edit_paragraph.cfm. Click Submit. CNAV will return a page name link. Click on this link to insert the correct ID into the Page ID field.
Script name: Enter the file name of the CNAV page to which you wish to add institution-specific text. In this case, you must include the path. To find the file name and path, navigate to the target page and either right click and View Frame Info (in Netscape) or right click and view Properties (in IE). Using the Add Paragraph page example, the script name in this case would be /admin_tools/page_text/edit_paragraph.cfm.
Comments: Enter any relevant comments here.
Contents: Enter the text that you wish to add to this CNAV screen. If you wish this text to appear with specific formatting, include the HTML codes for that formatting here as well.
After entering all required information, click Submit.
Note that use of this tool is restricted to system administrators and a small number of selected campus administration staff. If you are unable to access this tool and feel that you require access in order to perform your job, please contact your CNAV system administrator.
