A Picklist Radio form element allows you to define a picklist in the form of a series of radio buttons, only one of which can actually be selected at any given time. A Picklist radio field looks like this:
Select your favorite color:
o Red
• Blue
o Green
Within such a list of radio buttons, you can only pick one. If you pick Red, Blue is immediately "unselected".
For each Picklist Radio type form element, you can enter or change the following fields:
Name: Enter the name of the form input field being defined or modified.
Displayed text: Enter a short, but useful, description of how the user should complete this field. This description will display on the online form.
Attributes: Set the following attribute flags, as required:
Activate? Tick this checkbox to activate this field for this form.
Track history? Tick this checkbox to track all (historical) values for this field instead of maintaining only the current value.
Require? Tick this checkbox to make this a required field.
Picklist item details: For each item to be included as a picklist (radio button) value, include the following information:
Sequence: Enter the order in which you want this picklist value to be displayed in the generated list of radio buttons. The value with a sequence of 1 is displayed first, the value with a sequence of 2 is displayed second, etc.
Displayed value: Enter the value you would like to be assigned to this picklist value. The number or phrase you enter here will display as the value name in the list of radio buttons for this picklist.
Active: Tick this checkbox to activate this picklist value.
After defining or modifying all required fields, click Update.
