Helpdesk Administrators

Helpdesk administrators are responsible for one or more helpdesks at the CNAV installation. In a multi-campus installation, each campus might have a separate helpdesk administrator who is responsible for the helpdesks local to that campus. Alternately, each helpdesk might have its own helpdesk administrator. Every existing helpdesk must have a Helpdesk administrator. The person or group designated as the helpdesk administrator is ultimately responsible for the operation of the helpdesk. Helpdesk administrators can also manipulate the actual helpdesk settings. That is, they can add and remove fields from the helpdesk ticket form. Helpdesk administrators also have access to high-level tools for helpdesk searches and reports.

Note that helpdesk administrators cannot create or duplicate helpdesks. Those tasks can only be performed by a helpdesk system administrator.
