Note that two types of Cool URL tools exist:
General Cool URL Tools: These tools allow you to add a new Cool URL, view the Cool URLs that you own (and can therefore edit), view all Cool URLs, and access the Cool URL search function. (Note that although all users can add Cool URLs, those URLs do not actually appear on the Cool Stuff page until they are authenticated by the Cool URL administrator.)
Cool URL Administration Tools: These tools allow you to view and add Cool URL topics and to authenticate Cool URLs entered by other users. These tools also allow you to run data scrubbers that archive expired Cool URLs. Cool URL topics are the titles under which the Cool URLs are grouped on the Cool Stuff page. Use of these tools is restricted to those users designated as Cool URL Administrators.
In addition to these tools, you can also obtain a summary of Cool URL usage by accessing the 30,000 Foot Views.
Note: If you are unable to use a restricted tool but feel that you require access in order to properly perform your job, please contact your CNAV system administrator.
