Clicking Find It Now, People allows you to search for people using four different methods:
Browse: The browse function allows you to search for people by name (browsing the college directory), department, user realm (that is student, parent, faculty member, etc.), building, membership in an athletic team, or class year.
Multiple Condition Search: The multiple condition search allows you to search for people by last name, first name, or email address. You can also search any particular user realm (that is student, parent, faculty member, etc.) using a combination of criteria including building, gender, class, major, and social organization membership. The exact criteria that you can specify depend on which realm you select. You can limit your search to on-campus community members or include all members of the CNAV community.
Interest Search: The interest search allows you to search for people who have the same logged interests as you do. You can use the drop-down list to limit your search to specific interests.
Keyword or Concept Search: The keyword or concept search is of particular help when you know what you are looking for. Just type in a word before clicking this option to see which people have logged interests related to that particular topic.
