This screen allows you to load new online help files and correctly adds those files to CNAV's page security tables. This screen also allows you to generate a separate online help table of contents (TOC), index, and search file for each defined user realm.
Copying Help Files: CNAV stores online help files in the docs\help directory. To add new files, first copy those files to the source directory. As it copies the files, CNAV loads the new files into the page security tables based on the included file identifiers. To copy new help files into CNAV, click Copy Files.
Generating Help: CNAV provides a different help system to each defined user realm, thus ensuring that access to help on sensitive topics (such as account maintenance) is restricted to those users having a legitimate reason to view that help. When you opt to generate help, CNAV actually creates a separate Help system TOC, index, and search file for each defined user realm. To generate updated help after adding new help files, click Generate Help.
NOTE: If you opt to add files to your CNAV online help system, you must follow preset rules for file format and naming. For information on creating new help files, click here.
