Experts are organized by category and within category by topic. For example, the category of history might include the topics World War II, Civil War, Armaments, and Politics.
To add an expertise topic, click Campus Tools, Experts Admin. Under Add expert information, select Add a specific topic. CNAV displays the Add Topic screen. On this screen, specify the following information:
Topic name: Enter the name you wish to assign to the new topic. Make the name as descriptive as possible. This field is required.
Topic description: Enter a short, but useful, description of the topic being entered.
Links to experts: This section lists all of the experts currently defined for your campus. Place a tick in the checkbox for each expert for whom you wish to declare this new topic as an area of expertise.
After adding all desired information, click Submit to create the new topic. CNAV will display the Select Topic screen, including the newly created topic.
To clear this form and begin again, click Reset.
To return to the Expert Tools menu, click Back.
