The color picker is used within several administrative tools in CNAV. For example, the Helpdesk system administrator or Helpdesk administrator sets the Helpdesk color (displayed in the bar to the left of Helpdesk screens) by using the Color Picker () tool. This tool is also used by administrators within the Inventory and Timesheet systems.
Within the Color Picker pop-up window, simply click on the color you wish to use, then click OK.
Note: When this tool is accessed from My Preferences, the new color you select displays as a color in the selection field. However, processing differs when this tool is accessed from the Helpdesk and Timesheet administrative functions. In those cases, note that as you mouse-over the color options, numeric codes will display. These codes actually define the color to CNAV and are written into the Color field when you select a new color. For example, if you select Hot Pink, the Color Picker writes the code #FF0099 into the Color field.
