Clicking Campus Tools, Admissions, Admissions Admin Tools, Interests and Majors Contact Information allows you to maintain the contact information for various Focus Points that CNAV provides to prospective or accepted students. A Focus Point is a topic of interest or an anticipated major. Prospective students can use Focus Points to obtain the information that they most want to see from CNAV.
Once you select Interests and Majors Contact Information, you must select the Interest or Major for which you wish to update contact information. CNAV then displays the Maintenance screen appropriate to the item you selected:
For majors, you can enter or modify a major home page, alternate home page, and up to four official contacts. You can even include an alternate email address.
For interests, you can enter or modify an organization name, home page, alternate email address, and up to four official contacts.
For both majors and interests, all contact fields utilize a dynamic list display. As you begin typing characters in any Name field, CNAV will dynamically display all entries that begin with those characters in the display field to the right of the entry field. By default, CNAV assumes that you wish to search all on-campus people for your contact. However, you can limit the search to members of a specific user realm by selecting that realm in the Search group field. When the item you wish to select appears in the display field, click on that item to "enter" it into the Name field.
