Selecting eReserves, eReserve Item Editor allows you to access the eReserve Item Maintenance screen. This screen displays when you opt to edit an existing eReserve item. This screen also displays when you choose to add a new eReserve item individually. (If you wish to add multiple new eReserve items simultaneously, use the eReserve Bulk Loader tool instead.)
To add a new eReserve item, enter the following information:
Reserve name: Enter the name of this eReserve item.
Description: Enter a short, but useful, description of this eReserve item.

Security flags: Set the following three flags to set access and usage of this eReserve item.
Use digital watermark? Tick this checkbox to have CNAV add a watermark to the uploaded file to guarantee copyright compliance. (CNAV provides additional protection to copyright holders by watermarking graphics on the fly. When this flag is ticked, as students download or print an image, CNAV adds a distinctive watermark that clearly identifies the source of the material.)

After adding or changing all desired information, click Submit. If you are adding a new eReserve item, CNAV will display the eReserve Item Course History screen. On that screen, you can associate the new eReserve with one or more courses.
Editing an existing eReserve item
If you are editing an eReserve that was posted earlier, you can modify any or all of the fields listed above under Adding a new eReserve item. The following display-only fields will also show on your screen:
Date registered: This field lists the date and time at which this eReserve item was posted to CNAV.
Last modified: This field lists the name of the person who last modified this eReserve item and the date and time of that modification. For additional information about this person, click hyperlinked name to display this user's CNAV ID screen.
In addition, existing eReserves contain an Item Course History section at the bottom of the screen. Use this section to add this eReserve to another course, or to modify a current eReserves course association. To add a course, simply select the course name from the provided drop-down list. To edit a current course association, click the Edit icon next to the appropriate course name. CNAV will display the Edit Course eReserve Item screen.
