This screen displays when you opt to either edit an existing speed screen or create a new speed screen. This description assumes that you are editing an existing speed screen. Only an inventory system administrator can create a new speed screen.
To edit an existing speed screen, click Campus Tools, Inventory, Speed Screens to display a list of the available speed screens. Then, click the appropriate Edit button to edit an existing speed screen.
On the Speed Screen edit screen, you can modify the following fields:
Screen number: Change the number assigned to the speed screen being editing, if desired. (This number is used internally and does not display on the actual screen.)
Screen name: Change the name of the speed screen, if desired. This name will display in the drop-down list next to Insert Inventory Record in the Worker Tools.
Screen description: Enter a short but useful description of how this particular speed screen will be used. Or, change the current description.
Shareable? Tick this checkbox if you wish to make this speed screen available to workers for other inventories.
Field list: Place a tick in the checkbox next to each field that you want to display in the speed screen that you are editing. You can speed up the selection processing using the following buttons:
Check all: Selects all fields.
Uncheck all: Deselects all fields.
Toggle all: Reverses the current selection.
Show mode/Highlight mode: Select one of these option buttons to tell CNAV how you want the speed screen to display. In show mode, CNAV displays only the selected fields when this speed screen is selected. In highlight mode, CNAV displays all fields, but highlights the selected fields.
After entering appropriate values in all fields, click Submit.
