Pay Schedule is the first step of the Timesheet wizard. You can also access this screen by selecting Campus Tools, Timesheet Tools, Timesheet, Timesheet Tools Timesheet Utilities, Pay Schedules.
This screen allows you to set the pay schedule(s). The pay schedule determines the days on which timesheets are due and payroll is calculated. Because many institutions run more than one payroll, you may need to set several pay schedules at this time. (You may have one pay schedule for faculty, another for staff or hourly workers, and yet another for student workers or union employees. For details on the pay schedules needed here, talk with the Payroll Administrator at your institution.)
On this screen, you can do the following:
Add a new pay schedule: To add a new pay schedule, click New. CNAV will display the Edit Pay Schedule screen.
Edit existing pay schedule(s): To edit a single pay schedule, click the appropriate Edit icon. You can also tick the Edit/Delete checkbox(es) to Edit Selected pay schedules or opt to Edit All pay schedules. In any case, CNAV displays the Edit Pay Schedule screen.
Delete an existing pay schedule: To delete an existing pay schedule, click the appropriate Delete icon. CNAV will prompt you to confirm the deletion. Click OK. CNAV will redisplay the Pay Schedule screen without the deleted pay schedule.
Set or modify the timesheet warnings: One or more warning messages can be sent to the timesheet user, supervisor(s), and payroll staff to remind them to submit and/or process timesheets for this pay schedule. To set or modify a warning message, click Warning.
After making all changes or entries needed on this screen, click Next. The Timesheet wizard will proceed to the Warnings screen.
