Clicking My Place, My Helpdesk allows you to quickly view your Helpdesk requests or to submit a new Helpdesk request. The drop-down lists at the top allow you to select the institution and helpdesk for which you wish to view tickets.
By default, CNAV assumes you want to View Only Open Requests. To view all requests, click View Open & Closed Requests.
CNAV displays Helpdesk requests 10 at a time. To view another set of 10 requests, click on the appropriate numbers next to View Requests.
For each request, CNAV displays the following fields:
Submitter: Person who filed the request (i.e. You).
Ticket ID: Unique number that CNAV assigns to identify each request.
Helpdesk: Name of the Helpdesk to which this request was submitted.
Description: Brief summary of request.
Request Date: Date on which request was made.
Closed Date: Date on which request was closed. This field displays only when you ask to see Open & Closed Requests.
Each Ticket ID links to the actual Helpdesk request form for that request. To display a request form in its entirety, click on the Request ID.
To search for a specific Helpdesk request (entered by you or someone else), click Find it Now, Helpdesk.
