From the Cool Stuff page, you can access a listing of all CNAV users currently online.
Directly next to the Cool Stuff heading, CNAV displays the following message:
Number of users online n
To display a list showing the user name of each person currently logged on, click on the hyperlinked number (n).
For each user currently logged into CNAV, this screen displays the following information:
Name. Note that the user name is hyperlinked. Click on this link to display the User ID screen for that user.
CNAV status icons. The third column of this table displays one or more of the following icons:
Last Visit. The face on this icon indicates how recently the user has logged into CNAV. A smiley face indicates a very recent access, etc. To view the exact date and time of the user's last visit, position the mouse over this icon.
User Realm. This icon indicates the realm to which this user belongs. A pencil is displayed for students; a coffee cup for employees, etc. To display the definition of any icon you don't recognize, simply mouse over the icon. If the user belongs to more than one realm, a separate icon will display for each realm.
Institution. In a multi-campus or consortia environment, this icon indicates the institution to which the user belongs.
Idle (min:sec). This time indicates the period for which the user has been logged in, but not doing anything. This will almost always be less than the amount of time for which the user has been logged on. For example, you could have been logged into CNAV for 30 minutes, but idle for only 10 minutes of that. The idle time is important because CNAV automatically logs you out after the idle time specified in the Session timeout field under My Place, My Settings, My Preferences. (The default Session timeout value is 30 minutes.)
Server: This entry lists the name of the physical machine via which the user is currently accessing CNAV. (This field is relevant only when CNAV is being used in a cluster configuration.)
