The Journal Navigation screen displays a tree-structured list of the journal messages. This display can be limited to specific issues, authors, etc. by using the Journal Filter in the left pane.
This tree uses a structure similar to the Windows Explorer file tree. Items are represented by folder icons. Use the + and - icons to expand and collapse branches of the tree.
To read any message listed in the Journal Tree, click on the underlined message name.
The bottom of this screen displays general statistics about the journal: total number of messages, number of unread messages, and number of messages posted within the past three days.
The Default Access Groups link at the top of this screen allows you to specify who will be allowed to view your journal entries. These groups also determine who is notified when you make a new entry in your journal.
