The Topic Groups screen allows you to view and/or modify the editor and viewer groups for this topic. The editor group specifies who is allowed to make changes to this topic. The viewer group specifies who is allowed to view this topic within the Journal.
For each editor or viewer currently listed, CNAV provides the following information:
Editor name: This field lists the name of the authorized person or group. To obtain more information about a person, click the hyperlinked name to display the CNAV ID screen.
Status icons: This field displays one or more of the following icons:
Email. The email icon links to this user's email address.
Phone call. This icon links to this user's telephone number. Note that this icon appears only on those systems in which voice-over IP and Internet telephony are enabled.
Last visit icon. The face on this icon indicates how recently this person has logged into CNAV. A smiley face indicates a very recent access. A plain "not" symbol with no face at all indicates a user who has never logged into CNAV. To view the exact date and time of this person's last visit, mouse-over this icon.
User realm. This icon indicates the realm to which this person belongs. A pencil is displayed for students; a coffee cup for employees, etc. To display the definition of any icon you don't recognize, simply mouse-over the icon. If this person belongs to more than one realm, a separate icon will display for each realm.
Institution icon. Mouse-over this icon to display the name of the institution to which this person belongs.
To add or remove authorized editors or viewer, click Edit Editors or Edit Viewers. CNAV will display the Group Chooser. Add or remove users and/or groups as needed, then click Submit.
