The CNAV security system operates on three levels.
User realm: Access to menus is determined by user realm.
Privacy settings: Access to data items is determined by institutional and user-set privacy settings.
Page security: Access to specific functions (i.e. pages) is determined by page security settings.
Setting page security allows you to specify exactly which CNAV groups are allowed to view a screen by specifying a page security group. A page security group can match a realm group or predefined administrative group, or even specify a single individual.
When you select CNAV Tools, Page Security, CNAV displays the Page Security for Page Groups screen. From this screen, you can do the following:
