Appointment Tracking Tools

The Academic Appointment tools allow designated faculty and staff members to schedule and follow up on appointments with students. This tool is especially useful to faculty advisors and the campus Academic Advising Office.

The Appointment Tracking Tools allow those users to perform the following tasks:

• Create appointments

• Administer global appointment permissions

• Search appointment logs

• Complete under-use searches of appointment logs

• Create (and delete) appointment types

• Edit appointment statuses

The under-use search is an especially important feature. One of the best indicators of a student's success is his or her involvement within the academic community. A good indicator of that involvement is the student's attendance and engagement within academic appointments. This tool helps to identify students who are becoming disengaged from the academic progress before their academic success is seriously affected.
