Clicking Campus Tools, Helpdesk, Helpdesk Tools displays the Helpdesk Tools menu. This menu includes Worker Tools, Administrator Tools, and System Administrator Tools. (Note that some of these tools may not display on your screen. CNAV shows you only those tools you are authorized to use.)
Helpdesk system administrators have access to all of the helpdesk administrator tools and helpdesk worker tools plus the following additional tools:
Create New Helpdesk: This tool allows you to create a new helpdesk. Note that the system administrator only needs to create the helpdesk instance. The ticket fields and helpdesk properties can then be defined by the helpdesk administrator.
Duplicate Helpdesk: This tool allows you to duplicate the structure of an existing helpdesk while assigning that helpdesk a new name, color, and icon. Note that only the structure of the helpdesk is duplicated, the helpdesk data is not copied into the new helpdesk.
System Administrator Utilities: These utilities allow you to maintain institution settings as well as values (such as worker status and ticket status values) that you wish to define globally for all helpdesks at your institution.
