Clicking Campus Tools, Advising, Portfolio Tools displays the Portfolio Tools menu. From this menu, you can access the following tools:
DYOT Manager: Use this tool to determine the types of items (often called DYOTs for Do Your Own Thing) that students can add to their planners. The default item type (i.e. DYOT) is Course. However, you can opt to allow students to enter many other different types of DYOTs by defining those types here.
Planner Priority Codes: Use this tool to set or modify the priority codes that students can select when entering items into their planners.
Planner Status Codes: Use this tool to set or modify the status codes that students can assign to planner entries.
Planner Prompt Images: Use this tool to customize the icons that will appear in conjunction with planner prompts.
Topic Manager: Use this tool to create a new topic or edit an existing topic.
Portfolio Outline Tool: Use this tool to create a department-specific or goal-specific Portfolio outline.
Use of these tools is restricted to those users designated as Portfolio Administrators. If you are unable to access one of more of these tools and feel that you must do so in order to perform your job, please contact your CNAV system administrator.
